Statistics: Russia’s inflation slows down to 0.23% in Nov 8–Mon
MOSCOW, Nov 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation decelerated to 0.23% from November 8 through Monday from 0.42% in the previous week, and reached 6.1% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
Fruit and vegetable prices increased by 2.6% on average. Cucumber prices inflated by 9.1% and tomato prices by 5.7%. However, prices for potatoes decreased 0.6% and for carrots 0.5%.
Prices for eggs grew by 3.4%, for sausages and butter 0.5%. Prices for sugar and meat preserves for baby food 0.5%.
Gasoline prices fell by 0.15% and diesel fuel prices remained flat.
